About the AXA Open de Sion
The AXA Open de Sion is an ATP Challenger clay-court tennis tournament held at the TC Valère in Sion, in the canton of Valais, Switzerland.
In August 2026, the tournament successfully stepped up from its ITF roots to make its debut on the ATP Challenger Tour — a landmark edition that brought an exceptional international field to the heart of the Alps while preserving the intimate, welcoming clay-court atmosphere the event is renowned for.
Looking ahead to summer 2027, the AXA Open de Sion will return to Sion with even greater ambition, promising world-class professional tennis, valuable ATP ranking points, and an unforgettable sporting experience against the stunning Alpine backdrop.
Organised by Five Sports Management under Tournament Director Yves Allégro, the tournament stands proudly as one of the premier highlights of the Swiss summer tennis calendar.
