About the AXA Open de Sion
The AXA Open de Sion is an ATP Challenger 50 clay-court tennis tournament held at the TC Valère in Sion, in the canton of Valais, Switzerland. From 15 to 22 August 2026, professional players from around the world compete for ATP ranking points and prize money in the heart of the Alps.
For 2026, the tournament steps up from its ITF roots to join the ATP Challenger Tour — a milestone that brings a higher calibre of international field to Sion while keeping the intimate, clay-court atmosphere the event is known for. Organised by Five Sports Management under Tournament Director Yves Allégro, the AXA Open de Sion is one of the highlights of the Swiss summer tennis calendar.
