Welcome to the official archive of the AXA Open de Sion. Since its inception in 2020 in Sierre before establishing its home on the red clay of TC Valère in Sion, the tournament has grown into a cornerstone of the Swiss summer tennis circuit.

What began as a competitive stop on the ITF World Tennis Tour has consistently showcased world-class talent, serving as a proven launching pad for international competitors and a premier showcase for Swiss players. The tournament has seen memorable triumphs, including three titles from Swiss Davis Cup competitor Rémy Bertola, an early professional breakthrough by Australian Open doubles champion Rinky Hijikata, and international champions such as Germany's Christoph Negritu.

In August 2026, the AXA Open de Sion achieved a milestone by stepping onto the ATP Challenger Tour, welcoming an elevated international field and culminating in a victory on home clay for Swiss star Dominic Stricker.
