The action kicked off at 13:30, after a determined effort from the TC Valère and Open de Sion staff to get the clay courts ready for play. Tournament director Yves Allégro gave a special thank you to the whole team for their dedication—a true display of team spirit.
In the first round of matches, Swiss players made their mark: Luca Staeheli, Johan Nikles, and Remy Bertola all punched their tickets to the next round, delighting the home crowd.
